Subject matter is a brown horse with white markings, harness. Horse is wearing a blue ribbon and is standing on grass.
Artist is Gerald Lubeck, American artist, born 1942- Present, born in New Jersey and lives in Vermont.
Artist received a scholarship to National Academy of Design in NY, and studied with several artists. Artist does primarily realism.

Artist has handwritten title, numbered print, signature and year in pencil at bottom of print.
Artwork titled Blue ribbon, numbered 396/400, and signed and dated by Artist.
Work dated 1981, after artist signature.
Frame appears to be original frame. Dark brown wood with dusty blue center trim, glass, and paper backing.
Artwork is double matted with medium to dark brown inner mat and light to medium brown outer mat.
