A first day cover is an envelope with a stamp cancelled by the U.S. Postal Service on the first day it was released for sale to the public. The envelope usually also has some type of artwork pertaining to the subject on the stamp, making it a beautiful and collectible "work of art". These covers are quite often produced in limited quantities and can never be duplicated once the first day has passed.

Retired Hagen Renaker Mother Goose with Purple Shoes in great condition and about 2 1/8 inches tall. She has a stray speck of paint on her offside. No chips, cracks or repairs of any kind. I have lots of HRs for sale. Like all vintage Hagen Renaker pottery, there may be normal crazing or manufacturing flaws. All pottery pieces craze over time. You can combine items and save on shipping. Extra mini pieces usually ship for an additional 50 cents per piece. Please wait for me to send a combined invoice though.
